Our Ministries: Serving Our World
Serving Our World comes from the Great Commission in Matthew 28 where Jesus gives all of his followers the command to share his life and love to everyone of every nation. NCF follows this commission in two ways:
Our Outreach Ministry focuses on our community and the communities around us. Throughout the year, we plan different events to show God's love to anyone and everyone. There are some that we hold annually such as our Vacation Bible School and our Family Camp, while there are many others that we take part in whenever the opportunity arises. See when our next outreach is!
There are many in our own communities, as well as those in other countries, who make their lives about missions and reaching those who need the love of God in their lives. Those below are the current missions that NCF is financially supporting, local and international.
Based in Ontario, Hope Pregnancy Center helps men and women with unplanned pregnancies through tests, counseling, classes, and connection to the community.
Nyssa Food Pantry
In Eagle, Idaho, at-risk children are provided a home like, structured environment with loving parents who model Christ's love. These kids are taught a strong work ethic, life skills, and given a Christian Education.
Our missionaries for RAM, Rich and Kim Greenwald, travel around America to provide Pastors and their families with any support and encouragement they need to help them to provide efficient ministry to all of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Through our missionary for Wycliffe, Doug Haag, we have learned of the incredible way that the Lord has used Wycliffe. However, over 2000 languages are still with a Bible translation and Wycliffe is working hard to get a Bible in every translation.
Our newest missionaries, Keenan & Hannah Herrmann, come from the Tanalian Bible Camps (TBC) in Alaska. Much of Alaska is still remote with many isolated villages full of people who have never heard the good news of Jesus. TBC's mission is to provide a place for all Alaskan children to come and experience hope in Christ to bring back to their villages.
"No one can reach Muslims more quickly and effectively than one who has been transformed by Christ, understands the culture, and knows the language. GCM’s unique ministry is carried out entirely by nationals and former Muslims—some of whom even were terrorists. All are passionate about bringing the Gospel to their fellow countrymen and do so at great personal cost and risk."
Nate & Tammy Lashway
The Lashways have spent much of their lives in Africa, raising their children there. Thousands have given their lives to Christ through the passion of the Lord and the hard work and tireless efforts of the Lashway Family. They are not only involved in ministry but also training native pastors in ministry.
We met Pastor Marin on one of our Missions Trips to Moldova. Moldova is the poorest country in all of Europe. A wonderful Pastor with a heart for the Lord and the lost, Marin has dedicated his life to reaching Moldovans for Jesus.
G.V. Mathai and his wife, Mariamma, started the India Evangelical Mission (IEM) approximately 50 years ago with a desire to reach the unsaved people of their own country. IEM has built a Bible College, a medical clinic, as well as a children's home in order to reach multiple generations for Christ.
