And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.
At Nyssa Christian Fellowship, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith. Our ministries come in all shapes and sizes. Please come and join us for worship.
Every Sunday we celebrate and worship our Lord Jesus Christ with worship, fellowship and a sermon from Pastor Dale. The Holy Spirit moves as we have a prayer time during the last songs of worship. We desire to glorify and learn of Him as we gather together as His body. We offer a nursery for our families that have babies 0-3 years old. This is our main service from 10:30am-12:00pm, and all are invited to come as they are and leave transformed into the image of Christ.
Before our main service, all are invited to our Family Hour from 9:15am-10:15am where we offer various specialized classes for different age groups. We offer an adult class, a youth class for Jr. High and High School, and a class for elementary level children. We invite all to come, as it is a time for deeper and more intimate learning of our God.
Our Coffee House's proceeds go to support our missionaries. It is open from 9:00 am - 10:30 am on Mission's Sunday, the second Sunday of every month. Food is also offered for donations to our missionaries. Join us in fellowship, coffee, and food.
Jesus values all children and it is our duty as stewards to raise them in the ways of the Lord. Every Sunday during our main service, our children worship the Lord together with their families and then are sent off to learn of the Lord at their own level. This creates a more intimate environment to reach and teach our kids about the love that Jesus has for them, laying a foundation that is on Jesus the rock.
Jr. and Sr. Youth Group
Our Youth ministry exists to raise up the next generation of young people as the next leaders for Christ. Our vision is taken from Jeremiah 20:9, allowing the word of God to ignite a burning desire that we cannot deny to shine a light to this dark world. We invite Jr. High and High school students to join us Wednesday nights from 7:00pm-8:30pm to fellowship, worship and learn of Jesus through His word.
Royal Ranger/ Mpact Girls
Our Wednesday night is a unique children's ministry that utilizes two curriculums to minister to our children. We use the structure of Royal Ranger and MPact Girls ministries and a VBS like rotation for the game and Bible lesson to create an optimal learning/fun balance. The Wednesday night ministry meets every Wednesday night from 7:00pm-8:30 pm. This is a night that we set aside as an outreach to the children in our community.
Our men’s ministry meets on and off throughout the year for bible studies, men’s breakfasts and other gatherings to encourage and lean on one another. As iron sharpens iron, so do men of God when they meet together with the Lord at the center. At NCF we believe biblical masculinity is essential and the model is Jesus Christ.
The women’s ministry gathers on and off throughout the year to study the Lord’s word, fellowship, and support each other as they serve the Lord in our body. They host various events and a retreat to bond and grow together as women of the Lord. There are also events such as canning 101, We know that there is something special when women fellowship with one another, growing and encouraging one another in the Lord Jesus Christ.
When we look at the early church, we see God’s people meeting together in people’s homes delighting in fellowship. We believe that God’s kingdom is all about relationships and meeting together as a body. At NCF we host various life groups that meet the second and fourth week of the month to do life together. With an environment as comfortable as home, we aim to make fellowship a priority to create unity and grow in our love for one another in a culture that is getting too busy.
Growing in Christ is having a firm foundation in His word and proper doctrine that we apply to our lives and be transformed into His image. We provide a class every Sunday during Family Hour (9:15-10:15 am) and Wednesday night (7-8:30pm) that touches on the essentials of being a believer and disciple in Jesus Christ. This is a new believers class, but It doesn’t matter if you have been a Christian for 1 month or 20 years, it is always beneficial to go back to the basics of our faith.
West of 55
On the first Sunday every month, the men and women of our congregation that are 55 and up go out to eat after Sunday Service. It is a good time to and important for this age group to get together and be refreshed by one another.
